Museum Poster - - Illustrator - - 3 weeks - For this project we were asked to design a mailer for a Museum Exhibition. The mailer had to unfold into a two sided poster. (Approximately 36 x 24) One side had to have an Illustration and the other, information about the exhibit. If you are a fan of Mucha, which obviously I am, you will see here my tribute to this Nouveau Artist. I used quite a bit of gradient mesh and the hair was deceivingly harder than I anticipated, but I think it turned out rather well.
This side was given a lot less time than the first side and I think it suffered some as a result. It is slightly too busy as a poster. Of course this may just be me being too critical, the project did not specify that the back side needed to work as a poster. I think with more time I could have resolved it.
