I propose to rehabilitate the dormant oil rig structure and reuse it in a viable project called “Sahaaya” (meaning helper in Sanskrit). “Sahaaya” is a drop in the ocean, takes a step further in rehabilitation making it a prototype that can be replicated on other oil rigs around the world. One can commute by helicopter, catamaran, ferry or by flying boats to arrive to this destination that has no noise or pollution.
It is a rehabilitation centre for people suffering from depression, eating disorder, gambling addiction, shopaholics and kleptomaniacs. A place that is safe, secure and used as a therapeutic centre to heal people. Being isolated away the public eye; a place where one can let go, slip away in to the perfect setting that is tranquil; helps one heal and re enter in to the real world. It has a home like setting that is contemporary and caters to personal needs individually.
