Olivio Bottles - Objective: To design labels for 3 flavours of olive oil as part of the same product line yet distinct items. Solution: Going for a non-traditional look, I used colours to differentiate the flavours because they were more effective than flavour illustrations. To maintain consistency, the common colour covered a larger area than respective flavour colours. The 2 colours per bottle kept the packaging design bold enough for consumers to pick up.

Church Ang Pow (Red Packet) - Objective: To design a church's multi-purpose Ang Pow (red packet) for all occasions with worship service times printed at the back. Solution: The concept behind this design is the giving and receiving of blessings (for any occasion) in the form of this 'ang pow'. The 2 Chinese characters basically means grace/favour/blessing, to match the English "Blessing" and John 1:16 (dual language).

Kensington Photo 1 - Objective: To create a box design for Kensington's Ball-in-a-Box replacement trackball. Solution: Started with 2 main focus. 1. Making the product (replacement trackball) the 'hero' by using more photographs and my own illustrations (and to keep 'itchy' hands from prying into boxes to see what's inside). 2. Attempt a Lubalin-like type composition for product branding since it already has a 'fun' name to match.

Stylistique Hair Care Product Line - Shampoo and conditioner bottle labels for Stylistique's Medicated, Enriched and Revived product lines. As a new brand in the market, it was a requirement to make the Stylistique brand very strong so that users will build familiarity quickly and become more receptive to additional product lines to be introduced later. Another requirement was the use of color variation to differentiate between product types.
West Coast Jazz CD Cover - Project Brief: Jazz and Blues CD Covers A record company, specializing in the jazz and blues music genre, assigned me the task of designing CD covers for two upcoming releases, "West Coast Jazz" and "New In Blue". Each was to have a unique color theme (not necessarily blue!) and the client preferred to retain a few common elements between the two as they were part of a related series of releases. The imagery I evoked with these designs was smooth sultry and brassy; the choice was mine.
