Liad Cohen - Cover - Objective: To design a book cover that features the work of a modern artist and strong typography.
Solution: Liad Cohen is well know among lomography's online community. Commissioned by an art museum, I treated the main typeface with respect even though his works are arbitrary but dynamic. Borrowed design cues from his own website and opposed normal page reading flow for a more coffee table book look.
Liad Cohen - Page Spread - Objective: To design a chapter introduction page for the book that includes the artist's name, chapter title, topics, descriptive text, and images.

Phashion - Cover - Objective: To design an fashion internet magazine cover combining logo, cover image, and story titles.
Solution: Used a catwalk shot to suggest the fashion theme and a mouse link icon to suggest the internet theme.
Phashion - Page Spread - Objective: To create a two-page story spread based on the feature article of the cover.
Solution: By using a similar font as the the spread's headline, the countdown of sites begins immediately on the right page to keep the readers' attention. Besides functioning as a second graphical link between the left and right spread, the smaller website screen shot is meant to enforce the fashion site theme and happen to have the word 'COOL' on it.
