3RMIT

3RMIT (Ermit) is a portable kit of surgical laparoscopy that allows a physician to perform surgery
actively form a remote location or directly in the operating room.
This product uses augmented reality technology, adjustable surfaces to increase usability and
ergonomics, and a new technology for data transfer (published by Andreas Wallraff team at ETH
Zurich that is able to teleport information) that would be used inside this project for achieving
successful remote surgeries.
Combining these technologies with the highly ergonomic features of the product, surgeons could
perform surgeries without delays or incidents because of communication failures, preserving or
increasing the ability of the physician to 100%.
