Designed an experiment to simulate the cold rolling process on ball on disc tribometer to reduce the friction and wear of Aluminum alloy 6061 by using ionic liquid as an additive to the base oil.
Comparing the friction and wear of Aluminum sample by using mineral oil as base oil with 1% ionic liquid in mineral oil as a lubricant.
