Overview:
This is an enterprise level intranet application for the brokerage firm, which helps in automating the insurance renewals every year.
Design Approach:
This web application was built on Pega platform which is a business process management (BPM) and customer relationship management solutions provider. The main challenge in this project was to built the UI mocks around the out of the box UI components, as product configuration cost was very high.
Once we had the business requirements drafted, I had some one to one with the end users to get a feel of the brokerage that they do on a daily basis. The system should auto initiate insurance renewals every year and go all the way till Post order.
Then I did some paper sketches for some unique user roles and then in-turn did the complete set of wireframes for all the user roles. Some Pega prototype was also created to do some usability testing. Final visual design was done for the Pega UI developers.
