Maglev system EOL - Maglev system EOL – passanger transport system and high value cargo traffic is the first fundamentally novel system in railroad transport ever since the construction of the first railway. No contact technology, use of magnet levitation instead of mechanical components for the first time exceeds technical and economic limits of «technology on wheels».
EOL is more silent, more cost-effective and energy saving than any other railroad system. The train is connected to tracks and thus cannot fall out. It momentarily achieves the speed of 481km/h and offers high level of safety and comfort at all speeds.
Techical information:
- length of first carriage: 27m,
- length of second carriage 24.8m,
- width: 3.7m,
- height: 4.2m.
The train dimensions are adjusted to the size of the existing tracks of maglev system and the size of ancillary architectural buildings. Also, the size of train and the interior that are fully adapted to the human proportions allow comfortable transport of a large number of passangers and cargo.
In order to enable easier movement of passangers and staff through the train. Both sides of carriages have double doors. As for the windows, the so called electro-magnetic glass is planned (yet to be fully developed in immediate future) with a possibility of dimming by pressing a powered switch (thereby controlling the level of illumination of the interior). The second option is use of the so called «smart glass» that self-adjust and react to weather.
The detail A marked on the design represents the solar panel. EOL is designed with solar panels on the roof allowing for collection of solar energy to be used as a supplement to the power in the train.
