For this photograph , i used photoshop. The crop tool allowed me to take out Zayn of the original background it was on to the cloudy , dark background. For the arms i also had cropped out some of the stars from a picture of the galaxy and placed it onto his arms. I then erased parts of it to make it look like it was drippy down his face and in a way consuming him up from his arms up. The eraser tool allowed me to give it the shape i wanted.
