BURGERKING CONCEPT
Willemsoord shipyards ( Den Helder ) has a rich heritage and while the complex continues to develop into the future, we aimed to honour it's history and incorporate that into our design for this Burger King.
The space is exclusive in it's concept, embracing the raw natural materials unique to Willemsoord while maintaining a modern, industrial atmosphere. Wood planks recovered from ships form the raised platforms while Delft Blue tile flooring proudly showcases a treasure unique to The Netherlands. Exposed wooden beams and the windows left in their original state serve as a historical backdrop for the more modern and vibrant elements of our design.
