The Hilton Columbus Downtown is a full-service, 535 room hotel in the heart of Columbus, Ohio. The luxury hotel includes 32,000 square feet of event space, a full-service 400-seat restaurant and bar, a fitness center, and an indoor pool.
Vick Moore designed and implemented a complete wayfinding program for the hotel. The wayfinding graphics complemented the hotel’s contemporary finishes and materials. Included in the wayfinding program were identification sign types, directionals, code-related sign types, and floor directories.
Vick also developed an identity graphic for the hotel restaurant. For the restaurant signage, the graphic was combined with an element interpreted from the restaurant’s architectural detailing to create a distinctive visual statement.
