Moonj - the Natural Fibre - The aim of Unnati’s project Moonj–The Natural Fibre: Design Intervention in Moonj and Kasi Grass, Uttar Pradesh was to design products made of naturalfibres and give them a new look by mixing different materials, thereby sustaining the livelihood of the identified crafts cluster. Unnati had to design products for the Big Bazaar consumers. Selecting the crafts cluster and visiting the field area was the next step. She designed three ranges based upon inspirations derived from the origin.
