Public Space Information Display

Concept render for an information display structure in public spaces. A recent project. One of my few proper forays combining product design in an architectural realm. I wanted to mix elements of sculpture with a practical approach to the functional goals of this device. It's seems strange to call it a 'device'. This gives off more of an architectural vibe, it's massive, and it encourages people to explore the space it creates. Is it like a tree that provides shade? It has a presence. That was one of my personal goals in working on this concept. I didn't want it to block people's activities, while also having it placed at or near pedestrian traffic. The latter would allow the information to be effectively transmitted, the former ensures it that it's as unobstrusive as it can practically be.
