Al-Safa package design - With competition in Halal food products increasing, it was essential that Al-Safa revisit their existing package designs to ensure profitability. The challenge was to rebrand Al-Safa to be visually appealing to the audience; mainly, Muslims in their mid-teens and up. The result is a unique package design system that is transferable across various product SKUs and stands out from competition on the shelves.
In Transit - Through examining case studies of three cities around the world, the focus of this project was threefold. To greater promote the use of public transit as an effective and “greener” option; to create more connection points on the transit grid including extensions further north, west and east of the GTA; and to lessen the burden on city streets and highways by creating alternative routes via underground roadways.
York University signage & wayfinding - For this project, a diverse audience was the intended user group; ranging from first-time visitors, repeat users (professors and students), the blind and physically impaired as well as drivers. Extensive research was carried out to study the installation locations and whether the design met the requirements of the user group. A unified visual appearance was important to ensure brand recognition across the campus.

Verso Magazine editorial spread - Verso Magazine is designed by and features the work of students in the York/Sheridan Design program. For it's 5th edition, I worked as a contributing editorial designer for the Practice section. This edition of Verso won silver in the 36th Annual UCDA Design Competition.
Indian Delight identity design - This new restaurant aimed to attract more customers from a wider range of backgrounds. The logo design maintains a sense of culture and ethnicity, while portraying a fun and enjoyable restaurant experience.
Pak Centre identity design - This is an identity design for a new local dine-in and takeout restaurant. The color and typeface selection reflects the restaurant's take on fresh food.
Kenmore Handi-Mate Jr. illustration - A technical illustration of a vacuum accessory, for use in an informational brochure.
vector illustration - A collection of vector based illustrations that were incorporated into an information piece on drinking culture.
Equilibrium - This promotional poster exhibits the letterforms of a typeface design. The copy running underneath the "Q" reads: It's name inspired by the design, Equilibrium was created to achieve a perfect balance between majuscule and miniscule letterforms. With thick serifs, a diagonal stress as well as superb harmony between sharp angles and smooth curves, Equilibrium is an ideal typeface for use in text settings.
