PSPS Pekanbaru (Pekanbaru Football Union and Nearby) or currently known as PSPS Riau is a football club pride of the city of Pekanbaru, Riau. In season 2017, this team will play in League 2, second caste Liga Indonesia. PSPS Cage is the Riau Main Stadium. PSPS coach seats since the 2014 season are held by Philep Hansen Maramis. This team has the nickname "Askar Betuah" and "Tapir Sumatera".

After ending ISC B by successfully reaching the last eight which in fact is an unofficial competition due to the absence of official competition due to the punishment of PSSI by FIFA, PSPS looked at the 2017 season competition (competing in Indonesian League 2) confidently with the new management structure. The quality players try to bring in to achieve the target of promotion to Indonesian League 1.
