Elements and Principles of Design
The purpose of this project was to create a poster for the elements and principles of design. The elements of design that we used were line, shape color, texture, value form, and space. The principles of design that we used were emphasis, balance, rhythm, pattern, contrast, proportion, and unity. We used Adobe Illustrator to create the posters. I mainly used the text tool and a little bit of the gradient tool. My favorite element to create was texture and my favorite principle was proportion because I liked choosing the font for each of these. The elements and principles of design are important because they are what makes up the composition.
