HDR or High Dynamic Range is used to show luminosity and exposure. Generally HDR involves taking a picture at different exposures and then combining it to make an image that shows both the dark and light aspects of an image.

RAW otherwise known as a digital negative, is the largest and most detailed file type. Images shot in RAW provide the most detail, but must generally be converted to a smaller file for size purposes.
