'55 Dual Trike - Created on Alias Studio Tools-
The task of the project was to design a tricycle and create a realistic product
rendering of the concept. A tricycle is defined as a three wheeled human
powered transportation device. There were several areas that inspired the
design of this trike. One area of inspiration was its ability to accommodate two
people. Another area was its focus on classic cars, buses, electronics, planes
and toys. All of these elements were looked into to creating this ‘55 Dualtrike.
aimante LIGHTs - Mechanics use many different forms of tools. One tool that is often used is a
worklight. The worklight comes with many problems. From the light not being
bright enough to not having an area to attach to, this standard piece of
garage equipment does not fit all of the needs of its user. The aimante Lights
looks into the majority of the problems that mechanics face and makes an
attempt to solve these unchallenged areas.
Pontoon X1-2 -
A pontoon boat is a boat that is made for touring and relaxing on the water.
They are usually made to fit medium sized groups and to be more of a
comfort boat than an action boat. The Pontoon X1-2 boat, shown, was designed
to be an opposite of what the average pontoon looks like. This new design is
for a party of two but can hold four. Its flashy orange and pearl white colors
give a sportier, more youthful appeal than the colors of its predecesor.
Putty Knife and Paint Scraper -
The world of quality putty knifes and paint scrapers is almost
non-existent. Majority of putty knifes and paint scrapers are made
cheaply and the ergonomics category is overlooked. The result to this
is users that get hand, wrist and arm problems. Another result is that
the job trying to be accomplished is not completed effectively. With
the redesign of these two tools many ailmants and aches are
minimized. Also, the time and effort in the work that is being done is
lessened and still is more productive.
Coffee Table - -This coffee table took ten weeks to design, develop and build.
-The table is made with two different types of wood:
-Kauri from New Zealand -African Mohoghany
-The table top is 48’ long x 24’ wide
-The table base is 17‘ tall x 12’ wide x 36’ long
