ERGONOMICS: A Cheese Grater
"Implement Six" was a strange assignment -- one of those first-year projects where your prof picks random criteria from a hat and you have to respond accordingly.
What began as an improvement on the simple cheese grater evolved to be a tool needed "when camping" (?). Thus, a case was required to protect the grating and zesting surfaces from the contents of a backpack. This "case" turned into twin sheaths which I evolved to include moulded spoon and fork.
The result: a portable cheese grater, fork and spoon... for camping! As featured on Yanko Design.
