Sound Steps is an early intervention service of excellence for babies and young children born with a hearing loss and for their families, guiding them to listen, learn and talk.
Children who are deaf and hard of hearing are more similar to hearing children than they are different. Sound Steps guides and coaches parents and families of children who are deaf and hard of hearing to nurture these similarities and aggressively manage the differences via listening alone so that they can learn and talk like other children their age.
