Manoeuvrable herb garden - I built this for a kk present for Christmas 2010. All the timber is recycled Oregon locally sourced. I had to plane down all the timber and design it around ikea PP tubs.
The idea is that it can be moved in and out of the sun. The temperature in Australia gets up to 45 degrees c in summer and can burn plants foliage.
I am working on a redesign which uses joinery instead of bolts and am researching eco-friendly coatings which can withstand the Australian sun and also heavy rain in winter.
