Automotive Design Centre, Pune, India
This is the project I did for my thesis in the final year of Architecture. The Automotive Design Centre for TATA at Pune, India equates the processes of car design to the fingers of the hand. The building is essentially a large space frame formed by the steel exoskeleton providing vast column-free spaces. This allows the spaces enclosed to be flexible and can be used for a wide range of purposes. Moreover the spaces are well lit with massive glazed facades facilitating a conducive environment for creative thinking.
