Star Seat - This 2 piece cardboard seat can be folded up and flat packed quite easily. The bigger bottom piece folds up from a cleverly figured out geometric shape. The folded up hidden sections of this shape form the ribs of the seat and the weight is transfered to the four coners of this intricate form proving you with a a strong seat with sound ergonomics. The star shaped cover has flanges that help it to ease into the corners without any trouble.
Edge Trimmer - An electrical edge trimmer designed for no particular brand combining circular flowing forms. My aim was to try to avoid the hard-edged forms typical of power tools currently on the market and yet stills maintain the easily identifiable form of the edge trimmer.
Curl Lamp - The brief required me to make an asthetically pleasing household item out of recycled plastic. The lamp is made out of extruded recycled plastic. The plastic itself has a rough texture and is not particularly pleasing to the eye. I therefore created a beatiful feminine shape out of it and used wooden plywood panel to better its aesthetic quality.
