Initial Concept - This concept was the original. It was extremely simple, and I was trying something new here with a trailing arm that contained the electric motor, and a single shock and spring combo. I was even designing this frame to be made completely made of wood. The design was flawed though with the amount of unsprung weight that would have existed. Also, the rules of the Casc-OR Autoslalom series would probably not allow for a wooden frame. So...

Revised Concept A - I moved onto a more traditional setup with the suspension however I stuck with electric motors at each wheel. But...

Revised Concept B - I decided on moving over to a proven setup. Using the tried and true Mazda Miata geometry. The Mazda Miata has been heavily developed by DIYers and the information in abundant. I'm sticking with one electric motor now that is centrally located in the chassis. Now it's a matter creating a scale model which is the project for the next coming months.

Concept 6 - Final design. I have not posted all my because the changes were minor until Concept 6 where a more complete suspension has been worked out.
