EB Welding Fixture
Several large pieces of material are placed into this welding fixture and held together so they can be inserted into a vacuum sealed area for welding. In order to load the material, the top of the fixture is removed and the two sliding trays are extended. Material is laid into the internal frame and end trays, then the top is bolted into place and the sliding trays slide back into place to contain the material. The design has an open window on both sides which allows for a continuous weld by the operator. The outside of the fixture is round so the welder could roll the fixture to access both sides and the design can accept material of varying sizes.
