As the Women's and Girls Sr. Apparel Designer I mentored and coached a design staff of 4 as needed. Worked effectively with a team consisting of: Merchandising, Product Development, Design, Sourcing, Materials Research, and Marketing to maximize the best product for market. Worked with design calendar and met deadlines in a timely manner. Managed and developed visual tools for presentation of line (merch boards, swatch boards, trim boards and power point presentations). Directly communicated and collaborated with Global counterparts to develop a seasonal color palette. Worked to strategize and explore new design opportunities. Traveled domestically and internationally to research trends, review product at retail level, and present seasonal collections to upper management at the Global HQ in Herzogenaurach, Germany.
