Artist: Johannes Vermeer

History:
Vermeer was a world-renowned artist
who painted through the Baroque and Dutch Golden-Age periods (1632–1675). Vermeer was influenced by the works of Rembrandt through one of Rembrandt's students named Carel Fabritius and decided to focus on interior domestic scenes of middle-class life, mostly taking place at his parents house.
