Logo contest entry for a ArtME. A producer of an exclusive line of filaments for 3D printers.
In ArtME's line of products each filament has its own characteristic. There are filaments with a high metal content, carbon fiber, bamboo, glass, wood etc.
Therefore ArtME's logo had to be workable with names as CarbonME, GlassME.
The ArtME logo is split up in 2 elements Art and ME.
The word Art represents the filament that normaly is feeded from a reel into the 3d printer. To reflect this continuous and flowing line shapes are used.
The word ME is the 3D model build up in layers filament by the 3D printer. Hence ME is constructed out 3 block layers drawn in a perspective.
The filament ART feeds into the first 3D leg of the M of ME.
To match the main logo with the line of different products (GlassME, BambooME etc.) and for a package design the font Geometry Soft Pro Bold N with its smooth and geometric lines does the job.
