CAT - Articulated Dump Truck Cab exterior/interior
Project scope: Design a new cab that will be common across all of the Articulated Dump Truck platforms. I worked with both Caterpillar’s cab and Articulated Dump Truck teams to develop a new world class cab that offered unmatched visibility in the industry. My concept began from inspiration of a “Spinal” ROPS design that would eliminate the rear corner posts to offer highly desired visibility to rear tires and dump body. Additionally, the interior needed to be new and modern with improved storage and operator comfort.
