Plywood High Top Table w/ Round Extension
After moving I realized that I needed a table that would fit in my new kitchen and be function, as well as, utilize the high top stools that used to sit under our bar. In my mind the best option was to build exactly what I needed. Since it is usually just my wife and I, I wanted to make something that could accommodate us, all of the time, and others when we host. due to this, I took a piece of 4' x 4' plywood and very carefully cut out what would be the main top from the addition. I made sure to use a jig saw and cut on an angle so the addition would have something to sit on when in place. I then cut the addition in half and added hinges. This allowed for the addition to be folded up and stored easily, when not needed.
