Le Creuset Ceramic Kettle
Ceramic kettle design for Le Creuset. By using traditional ceramics the brands core values can be retained and the kettle will sit well with the current product range. The main focus was to create a product that could take Le Creuset in a new direction whilst respecting the brands heritage.
The kettle is switched on by rotating the top part of the handle a few degrees to the left. The handle will return to it’s original position once boiled. Picking up the kettle before it has boiled will restore the form of the handle and turn it off. This visual/physical language removes the need for lights and ‘switches’.
