Charm City Roller Girls Jersey Revamp

The Charm City Roller Girls needed to simplify the jersey arrangements for the league, especially the travel team. Working with their needs and history, I devised a plan to unify the color scheme while maintaining a link to the team names and previously used imagery. They wanted a new option for the competitive travel teams so that skaters would not have to invest in more than 1 or 2 jerseys a year. I collaborated with the stakeholders to decide that the travel teams would rely on a yellow and gold color scheme, trickling down from the “A” level team. Each team would have its own iconography on the front of the shirt, with a slightly different side. I devised the approach and created a design that could be modified as the league grows, and the jerseys were masterfully produced by a derby-owned company in Texas, Frogmouth. Skaters are very happy with the product. And yes, I purchased my own.
