The Charm City Roller Girls are a local women’s sports organization that is fighting for the attention of sports fan in the sports-saturated city of Baltimore. The goal of the posters was to use a unified design throughout the season to establish consistency. Each poster was to feature a different pair of skaters, showing off skill, force, and the dynamic game play of roller derby. These posters were hung all over the greater Baltimore area to publicize upcoming game dates as well as sold at the merchandise table at games. The unified design was applied successfully all season, and the league members loved the color scheme changes. The design was well received and served the purpose of gaining visibility in a proper tone that maximized on skater skill over sex appeal.
