Lit Motors Cargo Scooter (Kubo)
The Cargo has an innovative vehicle architecture and a unique active steering system which add both utility and excitement to two-wheeled mobility. While the initial concept was conceived by colleague Elliot Ortiz, Lit Motors advanced the idea, developing a business plan and acquiring numerous patents. I developed this concept further with a team of engineers, streamlining the Cargo for rapid prototyping and adapting the design to fit off-the-shelf components. The fully functioning prototype has now evolved into the Lit Motors Kubo (Nov 2013).
I worked on this project when employed by Lit Motors during 2011, doing the design direction, design, and CAD modeling.
