Stanley Knifes - A Stanley knife is the perfect product to redesign. The housing can designed in every shape possible. Because of the section views (displayed in red) the shape of the individual knifes are perfectly communicated.
Hand Sketches - In this exercise we had to master the drawing of a hand. In almost every industrial design presentation the product is shown with a hand to communicate the use or dimensions, so this is a very useful exercise for beginning designers.
Rietvelt Crate Chair - This was an exercise in my first year where we had to deal with the dimensions in this particular chair. A replica of the chair was put down in the middle of the classroom and it seemed that there were a lot of relations between them. It looks like a simple chair but actually it seemed to be quite brilliantly designed.
