Butterfly Coffee Table
I designed and built this small coffee table for my wife. It has a removable top that can be used as a versatile workspace (see link below). It has storage space for project tools and materials. The top can be expanded to its full size (26" x 36") or folded in half and removed to be used as a lap board. Magnets help to align and hold the top as well as keeping tools from rolling off the edge when in lap mode.
