Forecast Compass - An electronic navigation aid that not only provides orientation but also what the weather is like ahead. Allowing the user to make an informed decision about their journey.
Combining existing compassing technologies with radical high model weather predictions, the compass delivers all the relevant information to an easy to read analogue display.
This is a contextual design project carried out at university, in which a brand is analysed and a future conceptual product is designed. The model was made by myself, it has a sand-cast aluminium body and machined dial housing.
