The idea for this desk arose when I was looking for another drafting table to buy. I wanted something interesting and most designs out there were too similar. I created this desk to have one leg which "kneels" and drops the working surface at a more comfortable drawing angle. It was also important to have portions that would remain horizontal, so I would not have to remove my computer and other items in order to lower the surface.
