In 2011 AMC Theaters was exploring expanding its food offerings, so while at Misaine Inc I helped to develop a tray that could be used to carry food and drink. The cupholder of the tray could be plugged into the existing cupholders in the theater's armrests and the tray could pivot around this axis.
The sketches and screen grabs mostly show form exploration, but we also built a full scale mockup from FDM 3d printing. This had separate parts that snapped together and moved like the final plastic pieces would.
