Structural packaging design should be as beautiful as the product inside. This package was designed to protect & present the Newton Espresso - Not hidden beneath layers of bubble wrap, foam, or polystyrene. It has structural integrity and rolled cardboard elements underneath & unseen.
The product itself started as an idea between a designer and engineer a generation apart - one old school, one new school. The best of both worlds. The name Newton is a nod to the engineering and principles that underpins the machine.
Driven by the quest to save money at the local cafe, the idea was simple - to design and craft a minimalist espresso machine for the home or studio that consistently produces barista-quality espresso. The design had to be durable, simple, clean and functional. Just like its packaging.
