SpeedVision - SnowSport Innovations, Inc., asked me to develop the industrial design of a snowboard goggle with a headsup time display. I based the design off of the facial features of the great horned owl. The goggles were designed on paper and clay and then casted in a polyurathane mold.
NoDrip PaintStick - New Design Painting, Inc., an NCIIA funded startup company, asked me to model and rapid prototype the NoDrip PaintStick. The picture on the right is the Rhino Model and the model on the bottom is the rapid prototype.
Non-Invasive Glucose Monitor - This glucose monitor was designed for Glucolight, Inc. under funding from the Penssylvania Infrastructure Technology Alliance (P.I.T.A.). The first generation hospital Design was developed in a team environment. The second generation design was developed individually using an abstract sculpture as the source of design. The last third generation product, a watch, was designed so that Glucolight could market their product to consumers outside of the hospital environment.
FreeFeet - I developed this binding system for an NCIIA funded startup company called FreeFeet, Inc. The basic design was derived through reverse engineering of a preexisting product by K2. The form of the product is made up of four components and ultimately would also include straps.
