This project was a 1 hour show that was devised by Madhouse Theatre Company, resident English Language Theatre Company at the National Theatre of Hungary (Nemzeti Szinhaz). Directed by acclaimed British Director, Paul Hunter, we spent 3 weeks workshopping the script based on the book Embers. I sat in on rehearsals and designed the production around the actors and as the script evolved, so did the designs. The piece is all about props and minimalism where two actors play multiple characters with rapid costume changes. The show ran for 5 years alongside my other show at the same theatre, The Blonde Hurricane. One Set also toured to the Edinburgh Fringe where we played 27 performances at the Assembly Rooms.
