This is an overview of the subject-matter lists that I developed in order to facilitate and speed up web content writing across a variety of industries - including medical, industrial and real estate services - without sacrificing quality. I developed these lists on my own initiative. I wanted to reduce the time it took to research an industry before interviewing a client. I also wanted to create some baseline information for unfamiliar industries - such as scrap metal buying, marine electronics, etc. Because sites were sold to clients from ALL types of industries, writers needed to be able to research them quickly in order to maintain production goals. This tool was recommended for department wide use and was implemented as such.

This is the interview prep sheet I developed for myself and which my supervisor asked me to distribute department-wide. It was needed because the company's legacy systems didn't interface with each other. Consequently, writers had to check at least 4 different sources in order to prep for an interview. This sheet was their reminder of what system to check in order to confirm that all (mostly in-house) sources of information had been investigated before interviewing the client.
