Memphis Performing Arts Center
This urban design project’s goal was to create an environment in downtown Memphis, Tennessee where music can be played, enjoyed and celebrated in a central area where the need for cultural revitalization is great. The proposed center would serve as a beacon of cultural identity and promote urban development within the city. Integrated into the design was an amphitheater, music school and concert hall supported by a large central plaza.
