Hospice Medical Director Certification Board Branding
Development of logos and stationery for a new certification board established in 2012.
The logo design was inspired by research about the hospice specialty. The four colored shapes represent the four types of symptoms of terminally ill patients (Physical, Emotional, Spiritual and Social). When combined these shapes form a rectangle which is representative of the whole patient.
Certification in this field signifies to employers and the public that the professional is committed to career development and dedicated to patient and family care, the functioning of the interdisciplinary team, the sustainability and health of the hospice, and the credibility and profile of the field at large.
