PACKAGE DESIGN - This packaging prototype is designed for General Mills cereal specification experiment in which the customer can modify and define an individual cereal product. The package works similar to Netflix in which the bowl and envelope are sent back and forth [envelope is premarked and reversible]. The package is received with customers chosen color palette, personalized logo, and the bowl bottom will serve as a photographic and descriptive reference for later recall.
IDENTITY DEVELOPMENT - The identity designed for trik my bowl is to cater to a computer savy teenage generation. Given that it is representing a cereal specification experiment, I designed the logo to also be customized based on the user experience. The product description is laid out in three categories: description of cereal shape, coatings, and internal molecular makeup.

PROCESS DIAGRAM - This diagram is designed to illustrate and portray a process over time. It will reside within the context of a cereal box, and will serve as an informational device adding to the already abundant information found on the cereal box. From one direction it illustrates and informs the audience of actual cereal processing and what that looks like over the course of a day. Flipped upside down and one can read of the evolution of cereal over the past century and the way in which it has evolved.
CEREAL PSA 01 - To play a more provocative role in the system of which I researched, I designed a public service announcement to inform the public of the intense processing and fortification that cereal endures. Given that this message is quite unwelcome, my objective was to find a way to draw the audience in through visual aesthetics. The photographic image does this, but also implies the ironic and misleading names given to many of these cereals.

CONCEPT MAP - This concept map was the foundational element of the research that occurred over the semester. The catalyst of my research was founded in food packaging and from there the rest of the projects took off.
