Title- Junction ! This one draws parallels with the the various junctions we come across in life & have to take decisions on which way to go.The right decision leads us to our destination & to success & the wrong one misleads us , causing delays !
Sunset Serenity- Its amazing how sunset transforms a busy throbbing city scene with its clearly defined buildings & casts a kind of a blanket on it blurring the skyline & transforming it into a calm & soothing scene in one stroke.
Complete/ Incomlpete !- This one focusses on the highway through a brash , new upcoming development . Highways to me signify movement & progress & way forward , while the completed buildings stand for a brave new world, the abandoned buildings stand out like a sore thumb- a blot on the landscape & a result of greed , highlighting the flip side of capitalism.
Heading home- A typical evening scene in any metro in the evening. As the sun sets in the sky so the typical working day comes to an end & the cars pile up on the road - everyone wanting to head back to the comfort of their homes !
Dining @ Dubai marina- This one done in ink pens & soft pastels tries to capture the essence of the place with its cafes, boats & the low & high rise plush residential towers in the backdrop.
Walk along Jumeirah- Another scene from dubai- this one is along the Jumeirah walk- e very plush beach side development with e rows of cafes & stores below the towering residential & hotel towers- hard to believe it is Middle east !
Dining out- Another scene from Dubai rendered with markers & oils on canvas. I have tried to capture the essence of this arabic styled F & B development at the foot of the Burj Al Arab with people of all nationalities sitting under the shade of the palm trees withe lights casting mysterious shadows.

Walk along Jumeirah-2- Another one capturing the spirit of the Jumeirah withe cafes, umbrellas, planters , fountains etc places along the walk. Done with pens & water colours.
Jumeirah by night- The place really transforms by night when people of all nationalities come out especially over the weekends & you groups of people in animated conversation, ladies with their kids in prams, teenagers out to have fun ! Throbbing with activity !
A drive through souk- This one is of a souk in Bahrain a traditional souk with its plethora of small shops interspersed with mosques & minarets . What was once a small road mainly used for walking is now packed withe motor cars. Done iwth markers & oils.
Construction ants- this is a scene of a busy construction site with workers crawling all over the place busily doing various tasks - reminded me of worker ants - though their flourescent jackets gives them a beetle like appearance. The cranes reminded me of transformers.
This is a wall mural I made for an Italian cafe we designed. It has bee enlarged to 8m X 3m & will soon be put up on the wall.
A Walk along Al Riwaq- this depicts a scene along the walkway of a busy walkway full of restaurants & Al Riwaq gallery. You see all kinds of architecture styles jostling with each other. It is 1.5 long & done with pens & soft pastels primarily.
