Kight Lite for Ample Sample
Kight Lite for Ample Sample - Ample Sample is an annual contest that challenges it's participants to upcycle carpet remnants. I designed the Kight Lite after holding this piece of carpet up to the light and seeing how something seemingly so heavy and always on the ground could be transformed into something light and delicate, the kite shape quickly followed. It was also inspired by the fluid movement of a manta ray; kite, manta ray, ray of light, Kight Lite.
