Weights Bench - A strategic engineering assignment based on designing a weights bench, with full calulations justifying the dimensions, weight, and material for each part. Appropriate ergonomic considerations had to be adressed, it had to be compatible with the British Standards, and it had to have an appropriate safety factor. This assignment drew together all of the skills learnt in the first term of the engineering module.
