The idea was to try and develop products that were made from locally available materials, using the existing skill set of the community. The aim was to add to the income of the community and provide a stable work platform and thus, to empower them. These products have been developed in collaboration with the highly skilled applique artisans of Vadaj, Ahmedabad. These products use the art of fabric folding - Quiltagami.
